Credit Controller

Award winning waste management company based in Tring is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their Accounts department on a part time permanent basis. (Hours are negotiable for the right candidate).

The Role

To professionally and effectively assist in managing credit risk

To continually strive to foster even better working relationships with our internal and external customers

To deliver excellent Customer Service in all aspects of the role, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company goals.

Main Duties

To manage all aspects of the Customer Accounts

To establish excellent communication and working relationships with internal and external customers

Accounts Administrator

Award winning waste management company based in Tring is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their Accounts department on a full time permanent basis. (Hours are negotiable for the right candidate).  Offering an attractive package including a basic salary of £15K-£18K dependant on experience.

The Role

To professionally and effectively assist in managing credit risk

To continually strive to foster even better working relationships with our internal and external customers

To deliver excellent Customer Service in all aspects of the role, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company goals.

Main Duties

Duties will include but will not be limited to credit control responsibilities , maintaining the Purchase Ledger ,  handling customer and suppliers accounts reconciliation and liaising with customers/suppliers queries as well as other admin/financial duties as and when required.

To be considered for this role candidate must have previous credit control and Purchase Ledger experience and should be a confident administrator.

Requirements

Minimum Grade C GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)

Experience of busy credit control environment, as a controller

Due to the continued growth of the business, we are recruiting six busy, highly versatile new roles for: Class 2 (Category C) Skip Drivers, 7.5 tonne entitlement (Category C1) Truck Drivers and Van Drivers (Using standard car license) to join our growing team: Full and Part time positions available.

Location: Based in Long Marston, Tring, Hertfordshire

Package: £18,000- £25,000 based on experience + commission structure OTE £23,000 -£30,000 + use of company car during office hours + laptop/phone

The role:

Working alongside the current highly skilled sales and customer service team, your main focus will be to attract new business. You will have exclusivity in your own territory calling on any potential new customers, domestic or commercial. You will be responsible for managing your own diary and reporting back on your KPIs.

Contacting potential, new and existing customers by telephone and email

Work well within a small team, showing respect to other members of the team and working as part of the team to achieve targets

Lead generation

Making outgoing cold and warm sales calls to potential, lapsed or previous clients and using their database

Managing direct marketing / mail outs

The person:

Responsible for securing new business, the ideal candidate will be energetic, determined, driven and hungry for success with a passion and energy for sales.

You will have previous experience within a sales or call centre environment, you will have an excellent telephone manner and be able to form good relations quickly to gain new business.

A good team ethic is essential as you will be working in a small team which is sales driven and highly motivated.

Customer Service Executive:  Full time.

TRANSPORT CO-ORDINATOR

As Transport Co-Ordinator you will plan and organise the routing of deliveries and collections to meet the required business and customer requirement while ensuring compliance with transport policies, procedures and legislation (eg tachograph) are adhered to at all times.

Working closely with the Transport Manager you will be responsible for the compliance with all systems, procedures and processes, ensuring the vehicle fleet is well maintained along with holding accurate documentation and records.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills with experience in working in a fast paced transport environment and planning routes for drivers.  Knowledge of the Waste Industry would be advantageous.
