Waste King, an environmentally friendly company specialising in waste collection and recycling services for both domestic and commercial customers, has added a Volvo 18-tonne truck to its vehicle fleet.
Able to carry some 36 cubic yards of waste, the truck has the largest cubic capacity of any waste truck in the UK.
Glenn Currie, Waste King’s Managing Director, commented, “The new vehicle represents a sizeable investment but it will increase our capabilities and will further help us to deliver the right service for our customers. Removing up to 36 cubic yards of waste in one load, via our new vehicle, makes the process is more efficient, environmentally-friendly – and more cost-effective for the customer.”
Waste King offers a wide range of services including grab hire, house, garage and garden clearance, rubbish removal, skip hire, shop and office clearance and refurbishments, waste electrical & electronic equipment (WEEE) collections, wait & load services, portable toilet hire, site waste management plans (SWMP) and confidential document destruction.
“In addition to providing skips, we offer services including Grab Hire, Man & Van, Sweeper Hire, Portable Toilet Hire, Welfare Units, Aggregates – and we can help with Hazardous Waste,” added Mr Currie.
